The narrator and commentator brazilian Silvio Luiz was in a recording studio in São Paulo in the afternoon of last Wednesday (17) invited by Konami for the recordings of the narration of PES 2014.

Besides being known for its various phrases during matches, Silvio was also present in the editions 2011, 2012, 2013, and future Pro Evolution Soccer 2014.

PES 2014 and AFC Champions League licence !

According to the newspaper Aljazeera sports a new Champions League will be licensed for PES 2014, but it is obvious that is not the typical one we are used to watch on TV, this time arrivals is the AFC Champions League. It’s like a UEFA Champions League, in Asia, involving the winners of national championships and the tops of the 14 largest football associations in Asia.

That more is better in this case there is no doubt, Konami has struggled increasingly in recent years might not catch on to the number of licenses against Fifa but to make a football game ideal for your target audience bringing licenses quality without losing focus on other details of the game remaining. Throughout the year it is possible that we will see more information like this, licensing and partnerships with clubs in the south and central america, beyond speculation that Konami and MLS (Major League Soccer, the National League of the United States) would be talking to their possible inclusion in the game.

PES 2013 Data Pack 5.0 and PES 2013 Patch 1.04 will update Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 with new items for Copa Libertadores and much more!

So let’s cut the chase and have a look at what you can expect from our new DLC! The Data Pack 5.0 will be released on the 25th of April, 2013, for PES 2013 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It will update the Copa Libertadores mode and will bring many new items for the teams and players.

To make the football experience even more realistic, the players of each team will be updated to recreate Libertadores 2013: new kits, emblems, player additions as well as a new player list will come together with PES 2013 DLC 5.0. Moreover, the referee uniform, ball and emblem of the 38 main teams will be updated to the cup.

If it wasn’t enough, the new DLC will also feature Libertadores 2013 season added into PES 2013 as a new mode.

Stay tuned for the release of the PES 2013 Data Pack 5.0 and be ready to play with all the new players and uniforms!

Over the course of the past 18 months it has become apparent that there are a small, but active portion of the loyal and passionate PES Community who have been manipulating the online systems for their own personal gain to ensure they remained at the top of the Online Tables and spoilt the online experience for other players.

Once this fault in the system became apparent to us here at the Konami EU offices, we set about putting in place a process that could stop this from happening. We wanted to make sure there were no knee-jerk reactions and whatever policies we created were fair to the entire community and that we would do our best to ensure that all the players who use the online system fairly were no longer punished. We sought regular advice from our colleagues at official UK community site PES Fan, from other trusted community sites like OPE, WENB, PESianity and many others and put together a system that we hope will begin to erase the problem of unsporting behaviour on the site.

As of today, 325 players have now been banned from online play on PES 2013 and thanks to your constant feedback, this number will be revised on an almost daily basis. The submission process for reporting players you suspect of cheating has now been improved and also sped up considerably to ensure repeat offenders are banned or suspended from using the service. Rest assured this is an issue we take very seriously here at Konami. We’re grateful to all PES fans for their patience while we got this whole system up and running. It’s not been easy as we’ve had to share your frustrations without being able to feedback the info we wanted. It may also take time for some players data to be removed from leagues etc as we need to make sure it doesn’t affect those who have suffered in the same way. But we’re pleased to announce that progress has been made and will continue to be made.

Thanks for all your help and support over the last few weeks and for reminding us all what we already know – that the PES Community is King.

PES 2014 is anticipated to be launched in the month of september or october 2013. The official day will be publicised in and around August 2013.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 will make use of Fox Engine designed by Kojima Productions. Yet, no PES 2014 screens released.

Primera División, Ligue 1 and Eredisivie preferably should continue to be entirely licensed and Serie A teams individually.Even though many English clubs will continue to be with phony names and shirts, understand that this is because of an exclusive deal with the EA Sports. Bundesliga will continue to be missing besides maybe two licensed clubs, again apart of Borussia Dortmund who has an exclusive deal with EA.

Latin America it is likely yo have a full league, too (Argentinian Primera División) introducing brand-new Arena do Grêmio. Boot boosting as seen in PES2013′s Football Life mode is going to be removed from PES2014 meanwhile League & Offline Community modes to return.

Edit mode will certainly experience more or less total change assuming gossips from 2012. PES 2014 should also see the addition of the third kit, extremely wanted, and snow will maybe come back to the weather option.

The new patch was released on 11/10/2012!!

The new patch features:

Online Community mode added to implement the following features:
Widget enables users to play other modes while waiting for opponents.
Max 8 community members can join a match online.
Max 4 community members can form a team to play against other community team.
Facebook application “myPES2013″ is availabe once setup properly.
“Special Match” to earn bonus points on your win in the Master League Online is available.
Users are now able to choose “give up” at the half time in the Quick Match.
Tweaks made in various modes for better gaming experience.

**IMPORTANT**
There are separate update files for the DVD Version and the Download Version. Please make sure to select the correct file, and please note that you will need to close “Pro Evolution Soccer 2013″ before applying the update file.

PES 2013 Impressions @ The NET

* After playing the demo i must say that pes is getting better. Its not a bad game this year like the previous ones. But animations are still poor and the manual system for passes and crosses is a joke. We dont need a trigger button plus an arrow to point us where to pass. Tell Konami if possible to make manual free. Simple pass and lob button manual, like they did it with shooting. You have an option with single shoot manual button. You just press shoot button and its manual. Why not do this for passes and crosses also?

* After having a couple of matches, I am really impressed. Especially with manual. Really good. They changed how you do some of the different shots too.

* FIX THE CAMERA ANGLE

* 1) Overall, much better than 2012. Shooting is much more responsive and goes where you want it to. Being able to tackle the opposition when you WANT to is great and works well. Menu’s and detailing on the scoreboard etc are all easy on the eye, look great. Keeper’s are a farcry from their ’12 counterparts, so much better!
2) Swear i get a yellow card for basically any tackle that i make that doesnt get the ball, even sometimes when i do get the ball. Refs are a bit card happy I think.
Players, usually the AI, are not aware of the sidelines still. Meaning, they run out of play with the ball quite a lot.
3) Atmosphere

* 1.- Plays quite smoothly, shooting feels much better, player id good.
2.- Is it me or is the camera unable to keep the action at the middle most of the times, makes it hard to play with any camera other than wide.

3.- Would like to see improvements with the camera, though I doubt anything will be improved in this department

* atmosphere sound amazing . really really nice.

* quite impressed so far. passing and movement of the players is really nice and fluid and the player i.d really shapes players well, Welbeck’s always on the last shoulder looking to run in behind as one example Gerrard is once again lethal from range smashing 2 piledrivers against the bar. Had a game with germany against Italy, Cassano was everywhere dropping into space and Balotelli looking to get in behind. Play with Gomez and your first touch becomes awful and he’s sluggish but in the box he is lethal whipped in a few crosses which he got on the end of just had Buffon in fine form to try beat.

* Stunning engine. Makes any previous soccer title ever produced totally weak. Stunning. This will change how we perceive football simulations. First demo is amazing.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH today announced it will release the first playable demo of its eagerly-awaited PES 2013 title on July 25th in Europe.

The free demo will be available for PlayStation(R)3 via PlayStation(R)Network, Xbox 360(R) via Xbox(R)LIVE and Windows PC via ‘www.konami-pes2013.com’.

PES 2013 marks a huge advance for the popular football simulation, with the new game offering PES FullControl wherein players are given total control over every pass, shot and even first touches to the ball. Similarly, Pro-Active AI ensures that players move as they should both on and off the ball, creating a truly authentic big match experience. The Player ID system then enhances the feeling of individuality, with players that not only look and move like their real life counterparts, but also play just like them.

The first demo will allow users to experience these key additions at first hand, and features eight fully licensed teams. Germany, England, Portugal, and Italy showcase European football, while Santos FC, SC International, Fluminense and Flamengo Flamengo are available in the Copa Libertadores mode.

In order to experience the full gamut of control PES 2013 offers the demo allows any difficulty setting to be used, and boasts localised language settings.

While KONAMI announced the release of yet another PES 2013 video for tomorrow, July 19th, 1PM CET, they also said they would officially unveil the release date of the first demo for the game, which is expected to be put online on July 25th.

Meanwhile, a rumor about the full version release has emerged on twitter. Various sources announced the release to be September 14th.

What is Fox Engine in PES 2014 ?

The Fox Engine is a cross-platform game engine built by Kojima Productions for use in future titles developed by the team. It is believed that this engine is designed for the next generation of video games. The engine was revealed by Konami on June 3, 2011. The engine’s development began after the completion of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots with the goal of making the “best engine in the world.”

The engine will make it possible for Kojima Productions to develop multiplatform games with a significantly shortened development time and has been described as the first step for the developer to move away from development for a single platform.
